About Me

JennMy name is Jennifer Beach and I’ve been a NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer since 2007. I’ve worked with a variety of clients over the past 6 years. My specialty includes: Strength training, endurance training, pre and post-natal, post rehabilitation, circuit training, in home training, and numerous fitness classes: boot camps, cardio blitz, butt and gut, circuit training, fab abs, etc. I currently work with Anytime Fitness located in Marshall, MI as the lead personal trainer and manager as well as fitness instructor.

What I pride myself most on is that I am a real woman. I have curves and have struggled with weight my entire life. Was I ever extremely obese? No but as a woman it’s a constant battle. I have two beautiful children (2 & 5) and gained 50/60 pounds with each pregnancy. While pregnant with my second child I refused to do any activity because of previous miscarriages; I was scared. I was 210 pounds when I delivered him. Now I am only 5’2″ on a good day, so that’s a lot of weight to carry on my frame. I NEVER thought I would be able to get back into shape after having him BUT I did! Now I’m in the best shape of my life! I feel better at 32 than I did at 21 and it’s because of HARD work and dedication. I feel amazing and there is nothing I can’t do.

In addition to teaching classes and strength training when my youngest was 10 weeks old I had to do lots of research of clean eating and proper nutrition. I’ve learned more about fitness and nutrition in the last 2 years than I could have ever imagined. I also joined roller derby (smrrderby.com) and practice 2-3x a week with a fantastic, passionate, and dedicated group of women.

I want everyone to understand that I am not “naturally” thin and being fit doesn’t come easy for me; it’s extremely hard but if I can do you, anyone can.
